The Yama, come in large numbers, good price, excellent service.

Had a chance to visit Phuket (again) during the rainy season and got a hotel promotion from Traveloka's Epic Sale, so I got to try The Yama Hotel. It's a clean hotel with a beautiful view on a hill. The sea view room has the sea over there, a bit far away, but it's a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Patong. The highlight is the beautiful swimming pool, visible from the beautifully decorated lobby. There's a 24-hour fitness center.
