When you see the sign for Avista Hideaway Hotel, turn left and go straight for a while until you reach the Freedom Beach parking lot. Then pay the toll to walk down to the beach. Let me tell you that the fun starts from here because you have to walk down the hill quite a distance. Luckily, there is a good staircase down, so it reduces the intensity a bit.
