Wong Buri House (Wong Buri Mansion)

Wong Buri House features a two-story European-style teakwood mansion with a soft pink color and a two-tiered hip roof. Its distinctive feature is the vine and gingerbread wood carvings at various points of the building, which were popular during the reign of King Rama V. The interior is decorated with items such as silverware, glassware, ceramics, carved teak furniture, Buddha statues from the Chiang Saen and U Thong periods, and pictures that have been passed down through generations. There are also rare documents to view, such as royal decrees from King Rama V, over 100-year-old slave trade documents, timber concession documents, elephant registration papers, and cattle registration papers. Wong Buri Mansion was awarded the Outstanding Conservation Award in 1993 by the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage. It has been a filming location for many movies and dramas and also hosts traditional Thai banquets. Visiting hours are from 09:00 to 17:00 daily.
