A day in Ayutthaya!

I recently took a trip to Ayutthaya, excited to explore the city’s ancient charm. I stayed at the Centara Hotel, which was super convenient—just steps away from the Central shopping mall, perfect for grabbing essentials and snacks. On my first morning, I wandered into a cozy little cafe called La Loubere. The Halloween decorations gave it a fun, festive vibe, with pumpkins, cobwebs, and spooky music playing softly in the background. The atmosphere was relaxed, and I enjoyed my coffee while soaking it all in. Later, I set out to visit one of Ayutthaya’s famous ancient temples, hoping to take in the rich history. But when I arrived, I was stopped at the entrance due to a dress code I hadn’t known about. No shorts allowed. Unfortunately, I wasn’t prepared, so I couldn’t go inside. Despite that, it was still amazing to see the temple from the outside and imagine the stories behind it. Though I missed the full experience, the trip had a great mix of modern comfort and historical wonder. I’ll definitely be back, better dressed next time!
