Once considered the center of the world, this sanctuary of Apollo was home to the famous Oracle. Walking up the Sacred Way, past treasuries and monuments, I could almost hear pilgrims seeking answers from the priestess. The Temple of Apollo, though in ruins, still holds a powerful aura. The theater and stadium above offer sweeping views of the valley below, filled with olive groves.
