Thailand's Dream Island: Phi Phi Island

Phi Phi Island is one of the most famous islands near Phuket, consisting of the larger Phi Phi Don, the smaller Phi Phi Leh, and four surrounding smaller islands. Phi Phi Don is the larger and more developed island, home to local fishermen and lined with hotels, restaurants, and bars that operate all night. It offers a variety of entertainment facilities, making it a perfect destination for a relaxing vacation. Phi Phi Leh, on the other hand, is smaller and located south of Phi Phi Don. It remains untouched by human development and is uninhabitable. However, it boasts the famous Maya Bay and numerous snorkeling spots. To reach Phi Phi Island, you can take either a speedboat or a ferry. The speedboat takes about an hour, while the ferry takes around two hours. We opted for the speedboat to save time and were pleasantly surprised by how smooth the ride was—no seasickness at all! The cool sea breeze made the journey even more enjoyable. Phi Phi Island is also home to many cats that are friendly and unafraid of humans. They are beautiful and make the island a paradise for cat lovers.
