Guilin!? Spectacular rock formations in Khao Sok National Park

Khao Sok National Park is located in Phang Nga Province in the south of Thailand. It can be accessed from Phuket and Surat Thani, but it is convenient to go there from Khao Lak as it is possible to do a day trip. Khao Lak has many Europeans, especially Germans, and there are hotels where German is spoken. There are many tour companies lined up on the main street of Khao Lak, so it is convenient to apply for a day trip to Khao Sok National Park. We were picked up at the hotel at 7am, and arrived 2.5 hours later after crossing several mountains, the spectacular rock formations are located on the artificial lake, Lake Chao Lang, and the boat tour began. On the way, we trekked through a rainforest older than the Amazon and explored caves, so there are quite a lot of activities. On the way back, the famous rock formations appear. It is truly a spectacular view.
