Nam Lod Cave, Prathiu, Chumphon

An old monastery that used to be the residence of a famous monk. There is a statue and an ancient hut for people to pay homage to. Tham Nam Lod is behind the temple. It is a cave with a stream flowing under the mountain. Walk along the bank through the palm grove behind. The cave is pitch black with lots of bats. The stalactites and stalagmites on the cave walls are beautiful. No one will bother you. If you like grey bats, in the evening a large flock comes down from the mountain to eat bananas, the food the nuns provide.
