The Palace of Versailles in Paris

The Palace of Versailles is a World Heritage Site built by French Emperor Louis XIV. It is located on the outskirts of Paris, France, not in the city center, so you need to take a train (RER C line) to get there, which takes about an hour. The entrance fee to the palace is 20 Euros, about NT$600. In fact, the Palace of Versailles is divided into the Grand Palais and the Petit Palais, which are located in different places. This time we chose the Grand Palais. (But when we say Versailles, we are referring to the Grand Palace) The Palace of Versailles is as fun to visit as the Louvre, it is so huge! (It’s hard to imagine that someone actually lived here in the past and it was like their own home 😅😅😅) In addition to the endless magnificent buildings inside, there are many antiques, murals, etc., and there is also a huge garden with no end in sight outside. It is absolutely recommended that you bring your own food when you come to the Palace of Versailles, because unlike the Louvre, there is no restaurant or canteen. There are only small restaurants nearby (but not very close!!!), and it takes a whole day to visit the whole place, so if you don’t bring food, you will be hungry all day 😆😆😆. #Paris, France #Versailles, France
