Kong Lan or Pai Canyon It is about 7 km away from Pai District along the Pai - Mae Malai route. The word Kong Lan comes from the local language. Kong means road, a route used for travel. Lan means monitor lizard. When combined, Kong Lan means a narrow and small path for monitor lizards. Kong Lan is a tourist attraction that was naturally formed by erosion from wind and rain until it became a small path on the mountain ridge, amidst the mountains and beautiful atmosphere similar to the ghost town of Phae Muang in Phrae Province. You can walk around the path in a circle and see the beauty all around in 360 degrees. It is a top highlight for people visiting Pai to watch the sunrise and sunset in the same place.
