Pagadian City, known

Pagadian City, known as the "Little Hong Kong of the South" for its mountainous terrain, is the capital of the province of Zamboanga del Sur and the regional center of the Zamboanga Peninsula. Every December this little city has its own unique way to celebrate Christmas festivities, they design and put some decors on their Plaza Luz and their City Hall which is just in front of them. #scenicspotguide#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#awesomepic

White Island

It was a constant invitation. The stunning White Island was within view from Paras Beach Resort, where I stayed. Even during lunch, I couldn’t help but be hypnotized by this inviting stretch of white sand not very far from the resort’s beachfront. It wasn’t long until we finally gave in and allowed ourselves to be drawn to this naked, sparkling sand bar. More commonly known as White Island, Medan Island (or Medano Islet) is 10 minutes away from the northern coast of Camiguin. In Barangay Yumbing, boat rentals are available for P480. Resorts also offer their own day tours to this pristine, powdery paradise. Although it often looks like a boomerang, the island’s shape changes according to the tides. It is uninhabited and there are no permanent concrete structures here — no houses, no towers. Even trees are absent here. It’s just a beautiful dump of fine sand with Mt. Hibok-hibok and Mt. Vulcan as the backdrop. When we arrived, however, there was a tent under which sat a man, who had been renting out big umbrellas to tourists for P50. To be on the safe side, don’t forget to bring hats, sunglasses, and sunblock, of course. #newyearstrip#newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#givethanks#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Paseo del Mar

People in the Philippines like to celebrate Christmas for as long as possible! The playing of Christmas carols in shops can start in September! The formal Christmas celebrations start on 16th December when many people go the the first of nine pre-dawn or early morning masses. The last mass is on Christmas day. The Christmas celebrations continue to the First Sunday in January when Epiphany or the Feast of the Three Kings is celebrated. In the Philippines the early masses held before Christmas are called the 'Misa de Gallo' or 'Simbang Gabi' in Filipino. Most Filipinos are Christians with about 80% of people being Catholics. It's the only Asian country with so many Christians. Because of this, Christmas is the most important holiday in the Philippines. #newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#2019firsttravelpic#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Pagadian

Coral Cove is a tiny bay with coarse reddish sand. The beach here is very clean: there are no bottles and old palm branches beneath your feet. On the left and on the right there are gigantic boulders growing right from the sand, like frightening guards, protecting an access to the bay from the sea. In glades between the boulders you can find hiding places to get away from strangers sight in this by far secluded oasis. The slope of the bed is quite considerable, the depth surges sharply, and you will be covered with water only within a couple of meters distance from the shore. G reat fans of swimming and deep sea should definitely like Coral Cove. It is exciting to swim here, and ten meters away from the shore you will reach a considerable depth. #newyearstrip#newphotographer#christmastrip#travelinspiration#givethanks#merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Kowloon Tong

Kowloon City is about as diverse as Hong Kong gets. Occupying the eastern half of the Kowloon peninsula, this district spans old neighbourhoods, leafy suburban enclaves, deliciously good food, historic sites and the former Kai Tak Airport, which is now being redeveloped into a recreational hub. In between, you’ll find streets that are home to some of Hong Kong’s most robust cultural communities. #deliciousfood#scenicspotguide#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#awesomepic

Tuasan Falls

Tuasan Falls isn’t the tallest waterfalls on the island of Camiguin in the Philippines but even so, I was impressed by its powerful water flow. Surprisingly, we came across Tuasan by chance while we were cruising along the highlands of Camiguin. Tuasan Falls is located in the middle of the mountains. And just a few steps away from the parking area. Basically, this fall can be easily accessed by anyone. It was very beautiful and the water is so refreshing. if you come across to this island better visit this wonder. #newyearstrip#givethanks#2019firsttravelpic#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#instagramworthydestinations#couplestrip#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Sunken Cemetery

One of the most prominent destinations on the island, just off the coast of Cagayan de Oro, would be the sunset-lit Sunken Cemetery in Catarman, a portion of the province's community where one of the first settlers of Camiguin lived and have been buried alive after Mt. Vulcan or Daang Bulkan erupted. The underwater tombstones, some still have identifiable features that are now rare from the uniform burial lots and tombs, extend to at least half a hectare from an old church similarly buried by Mt. Vulcan's lava. #scenicspotguide#decembertravel#unforgettableexperiences#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

SM Mall of Asia

SM Mall of Asia is one of the largest malls in the Philippines, and even makes the list of the world's largest malls, too. It's certainly not your run-of-the-mill mall but is more of a tourist destination with lots to offer in terms of shopping, leisure, and entertainment. Situated right by the scenic Manila Bay, the mall is a sprawling complex boasting top-tier facilities and a good mix of local and global brands. You can easily spend a day or 2 here shopping or enjoying a drink by the bay in the evening. #nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#wintergetaway#merryxmas#awesomepic

Thailand is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. Twenty years ago it was considered 'daring' to travel to Thailand. Times have certainly changed. From the majestic five-star hotels in Bangkok to simple beach huts in Koh Samui or Koh Samet, accommodation choices are many. From the stunning plains and hills of the Golden Triangle to the wave-lapped white sand beaches of Phuket, Samui and Krabi, the kingdom radiates beauty. Thailand has so much to offer that one visit is never enough you'll want to come back and discover more time after time. #travelinspiration#merrychristmas#2019firsttravelpic#scenicspotguide#unforgettableexperiences#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#deliciousfood#couplestrip#holidayvacation#merryxmas#awesomepic

Seda Centrio

The preferred business hotel while staying in Cagayan De Oro is situated in the center of the city. The rooms are very well kept and the amenities are fit for business individual in you. The club lounge is open for those staying at the 11th floor and you can have your breakfast here or at the Misto restaurant in the Lobby floor. #merryxmas #merrychristmas#scenicspotguide#nyedestinations#decembertravel#instagramworthydestinations#holidayvacation#merryxmas#awesomepic
