The park features hiking trails that lead to an observation deck, offering a panoramic view of the sea of flowers. Standing at the top and looking down, I felt an indescribable sense of awe at that moment. The gentle breeze stirred the waves of blossoms, as if nature itself was greeting visitors with warmth. Beyond the visual feast, the park also offers treats like moss phlox-shaped ice cream and local delicacies. Sitting by the flower fields, enjoying a sweet treat while gazing at the pink landscape, time seemed to slow down. This moss phlox journey was my most beautiful encounter with spring in Hokkaido. It wasn’t just about admiring flowers—it was a healing experience, rediscovering the tenderness and romance often forgotten in daily life amidst the pink skies.
