🇯🇵 Review of a 5-day, 4-night trip to Japan, Osaka 🌸 This city is so cute, my heart fluttered from the first day 💖 Hello everyone~ Today we will take you to Osaka!! A warm, friendly city with a cute charm that will melt your heart~ 🥹 First of all, let me explain a little… We booked this trip because we saw a clip on TikTok and saw that Osaka is so worth visiting, with Universal Studios, so many foods, and you have to see the Glico sign! 💥 So we packed our bags and told ourselves, “Japan, I’m going to see you!” ✈️💼 ⸻ 🌤️ Day 1: Arrived in Osaka! More exciting than getting the freebies in the candy box 🎁 We landed at Kansai Airport (KIX) and used the ICOCA + Nankai Express card to go to Namba Station. Let me tell you, it’s the fastest and most convenient way. We chose to stay near Dotonbori, which is a popular area. Walk a short distance and you will reach the legendary Glico sign river~ 🏃🏻♀️🌉 After checking in, I did not hesitate… Let’s go! Walk around Dotonbori With lively music from restaurants, the aroma of takoyaki floated over so temptingly 🐙✨ We bought a box of takoyaki to try… It turned out that we went to 2 more shops! Sob! It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The squid was so big that it almost fell out and greeted us! 😂 After taking pictures of the Glico sign, we stopped by Shinsaibashi-suji To do some light shopping before going to bed. The first shop was a hit! Japanese cosmetics are so cute 🛍️💕 ⸻ 🛍️ Day 2: A day of walking and shopping (With a voice in my mind: “I didn’t buy much, it was just a discount~”) 🧸 Today, we woke up a bit early. Then go to the Amerikamura area or “Amerikamura” where Japanese teenagers like to hang out~ There are many vintage street clothing stores here! When you walk around, you’ll be like “Oh! So cute again” every two meters 😍 During the day, we stopped by a cafe called “Cafe No.” The menu we ordered was “Strawberry Milk” which came in an Instagrammable bottle~ The pink color was so soft and harmonious 🍓🥤 When it started to get dark, we stopped by Orange Street, a quiet but very chic area. It was like being in the world of a slice of life anime. 🌆 Back to Dotonbori again, this time we had a ton of okonomiyaki and kushikatsu 🍢 We were so full that our bellies were bloated, but our hearts were still full as usual~ ⸻ 🎡 Day 3: Meet my favorite hero at USJ 🏰✨ My heart was beating like a kid finding a new toy! Today was a day of 10 million levels of happiness!! We're going to Universal Studios Japan 🎉 Let me tell you, we planned ahead, bought tickets in advance + Express Pass so we wouldn't have to wait in long lines~ 🪪✨ When we got there, we ran to the Harry Potter zone first!! The fake snow at Hogsmeade Alley looked so realistic. And the Butterbeer was so fluffy and sweet like a dream. 🪄🍺 Next, we went to the newly opened Super Nintendo World, so cute! When we walked in, we heard Mario's "Yahoo!" and our hearts melted~ There were also games to collect coins! 🏁🍄 But what we really liked was the Minion Park zone. 💛 Let me tell you, the real Minions were cuter than we thought. We were walking around and then a parade came running past to greet us! Melting! The day ended with no energy left, but my heart was filled with the happiest energy in the world~ 💖🎢 ⸻ 🏯 Day 4: A classic day at Osaka Castle with a cat cafe~ 🐱🌸 Today, let's take it easy after having so much fun at USJ. We went for a walk at Osaka Castle! The castle is so magnificent!!! I screamed in my heart many times 😭✨ Around the castle is a public park. The leaves are changing colors at their peak. For those who like taking pictures, I must say that I don't want to go back. My camera is almost broken. 📷🍁 After that, we continued our journey to Nakazakicho. This place is so cute. There is a secret cafe hidden in the alleys that is very heartwarming. We sat at a cat cafe called "Neko no Jikan" 🐾 The cats are fluffy and fat. They sit still on our laps like dolls. We sat and sipped a latte with jazz playing. We were so entertained that we forgot the time. 🐈☕✨ ⸻ 😭 Day 5: The last day... I don't want to go back. 🍃 It's the last day already. Sob~ When I packed my bags, I couldn't help but feel sad. So I told myself, "I have to come back!" 😢 Before boarding the plane, we stopped by Tenjinbashi-suji Shotengai which is a very long local shopping district~ We walked and ate mochi. Buy souvenirs for your friends to enjoy 🍡🎁 The last meal before boarding the plane was hot eel rice with fragrant green tea. It felt warm like being hugged by Osaka. 🥹💕 ⸻ 💌 Summary of my impressions: Osaka... A city that seems to have a heart 💓 Osaka is not just a tourist city, but a city that is "cute every day". Smiling people, warm food, charming cafes, shops full of determination, and an atmosphere like being in an anime. 🎀 It's no wonder that Osaka has become a city that we feel "missing immediately" even before we return 😭✨ For those who have never been here...
