Osaka in May

How was the trip to Osaka in May? Let's take a look. On the first day, it rained heavily upon arrival, and the weather was quite chilly. However, we could still enjoy sightseeing. The first destination was Katsuoji Temple, famous for its red Daruma dolls. In the evening, we wrapped up the day by finding some delicious food at Shinsaibashi. On the second day, we visited Namba Shrine, Kuromon Market, and Orang Street. On the third day, we explored cafes in the Kitahama area, Nakazakicho, and the Shinsakei district. On the fourth day, it was all about shopping at Dotonbori. For the remaining three days, there was no rain, and we even got some sunshine. However, the evenings were slightly chilly, so bringing a jacket and an umbrella was a good idea. Transportation-wise, we used IC cards throughout the trip, which were convenient and easy to use. For expenses, we exchanged 5,000 yen in cash to top up the IC card and for shops that only accepted cash. Most of the time, we used YouTrip for payments. In our opinion, May is a great month to visit Osaka.
