The entire shrine stage is shaped like a giant lion's face, with its mouth wide open, golden eyes glaring fiercely. It exudes a strong aura yet has a touch of cuteness. It is said that standing in front of the lion's mouth can "swallow misfortune and bring good luck," so many people come here specifically to pray for a change in fortune, or for success in exams, job hunting, or love. The shrine itself is not very large, but the Lion Hall is so distinctive that visiting once leaves a lasting impression. Plus, it's very close to the Namba city area, making it a convenient stop when walking from Dotonbori or Kuromon Market. It's a perfect spot for both sightseeing and spiritual experiences. I personally recommend visiting in the morning when there are fewer people. The photos turn out especially well, and the lion's face looks more three-dimensional under the sunlight, radiating a mix of majesty and healing vibes.
