They are all takoyaki. Akashiyaki is not coated with sauce and is eaten similarly to rice with tea. Add store-bought pickles to the bowl and pour over the broth before serving. The appearance of takoyaki is the same as ordinary takoyaki. We ordered a set of four takoyaki for 1,380 yen and a draft beer for 528 yen. The taste of takoyaki is completely different from the Taiwanese takoyaki I grew up with. The Taiwanese taste is firmer and chewier, and the sauce is sweeter. Feels smaller. The octopus chunks have a distinct taste. Osaka takoyaki looks big but it is made of starchy octopus meat which is very small. The taste is soft and the sauce is sour. This is the second time that eating someone is a deterrent. Maybe we are still in Shinsaibashi Shopping Street, there are so many people there, and business seems to be very good during meal time. Most of the tourists who have just arrived tend to get lost. A serving is 1,380 yen, and 12 takoyaki cost an average of more than 100 yen per piece. Not too expensive nor cheap.
