Tennoji Zoo

Tennoji Zoo, established in 1915, is Japan's second oldest zoo. Located within Tennoji Park in Osaka, it spans approximately 11 hectares and houses over 200 species and more than 1,000 animals, including lions, giraffes, polar bears, and penguins. The zoo's standout feature is its "natural environment simulation" concept, with exhibits designed to mimic regions like the African savanna and Asian tropical rainforests, providing animals with more space to move freely.
