The Echo of Tranquil Time

In the morning, I walked into Shitennoji, an ancient temple founded by Prince Shotoku with a history spanning over a thousand years. It is one of Osaka's most iconic Buddhist sites. Passing through the vermilion five-story pagoda, I arrived at the serene courtyard where the pond reflected the blue sky and the temple, as if time had slowed down here. I quietly listened to the sound of the wind passing through the wooden corridors, feeling the deep Zen ambiance and historical accumulation of the temple. In the afternoon, I took a train to Uji to visit the World Heritage Site, Byodoin. Upon entering the temple, I was captivated by the elegant silhouette of the Phoenix Hall, its reflection merging with the pond, creating a tranquil painting. I savored a cup of Uji matcha in the courtyard, immersing myself in the leisurely atmosphere of this ancient temple. The afternoon sunlight cast on the moss-covered stone steps, with a gentle breeze bringing a sense of seclusion. This day felt like stepping into the depths of time, experiencing the harmonious coexistence of history and nature.
