Opened in 1936, the Osaka Municipal Museum of Fine Arts is one of Japan's oldest museums, and I decided to visit it because a Vermeer exhibition was being held there. 🤗✨ The building is a symmetrical Japanese-Western style building with a tiled roof on top of a concrete structure, giving it a retro-modern atmosphere and a dignified presence.
