In the Heights above Hvar

The city fortress of Hvar dates from at least the late 1200s, and is aremarkable example of this type of city fortifications. The views from the Fort, looking down over Hvar Town, HvarHarbour and the islands beyond are magnificent and well worth the hike through the old town streets.
