Summer in Hulunbuir is like a giant energy field

I visited the Hulunbuir grasslands in early June, just before the peak summer vacation season. As a photographer, I'm only satisfied when I capture breathtaking landscapes during my travels. But unexpectedly... activities I initially thought would be boring - holding lambs, riding horses, feeding reindeer - turned out to be incredibly healing!!! Perhaps Hulunbuir itself is a massive energy field. When you immerse yourself here and remain open to all possibilities, everything seems to come alive with spirit. Photos 1-5: Liuka Baliangzao Private Ranch Right at the entrance are incredibly photogenic wooden cabins and haystacks. I got to hold adorable little 🐑 lambs and ride horses across the grasslands. Skilled riders can even gallop freely. Photos 6-10: Birch Forest Scenic Area Birch trees symbolize purity and resilience in northern cultures. The well-developed area includes a children's playground, free swings, and a reindeer park where you can feed the deer up close with a basket of moss for just 15 yuan. Photos 11-13: Morigele River Grassland Scenic Area Take a European-style mini train to enjoy grassland views, then head straight for the 1300-meter-long grass slide. Photos 14-16: North Bank of Morigele River Grassland The entire route offers stunning grassland views. In June, yellow globeflowers bloom, creating scenes reminiscent of the classic Windows "Bliss" wallpaper on sunny days. Photos 17-20: Genghis Khan's Horse-Tethering Post This undeveloped site features Hulun Lake on one side and cliffs on the other, resembling England's White Cliffs. Perfect for quietly watching the sunset from the grassy slopes. Hulunbuir's vast territory has many rough roads with no signal. For hassle-free travel, I recommend hiring a guide. I traveled with the Baliangzao team, whose itinerary covered all these spots. Bonus: the accommodations were surprisingly great - quality sleep is so important when traveling.
