The last temple built in the reign of King Rama III

#triptravelchina - Wat Chaloem Phrakiat was built in 1849 according to the royal command of King Nangklao who ordered the construction of this temple at the original residence of Phraya Nonthaburi Si Maha Uthayan (Bunchan), the former governor of Nonthaburi, and Khunying Pheng, his grandfather and grandmother, to honor Somdet Phra Sri Sulalai (Chao Chom Manda Riam), his mother. The name "Wat Chaloem Phrakiat" was given before it was completed. Later, she passed away on April 2, 1851. - It is the only place in the province where the water-stealing ceremony was performed for use in the coronation ceremony.
