So I searched for information and was impressed with one day. I want everyone to go and get goosebumps. 😶 Wat Prasat, Nonthaburi Currently, the Fine Arts Department has registered Wat Prasat as a national historical site. The highlight that is enchanting is the temple's chapel, which is a Maha-ut chapel. It has no windows on both sides. In front, there is a castle-shaped door decorated with stucco patterns. At the back, there is only a small skylight behind the principal Buddha image. 🤭 Another distinctive feature of the church is that it is shaped like a ship's hull, or what is called falling into the elephant's belly. The base of the chapel is curved like the curve of a ship, which is a characteristic of Ayutthaya-era churches. 🤔 Inside the church, there is a Buddha image, the principal Buddha image, called Luang Pho Yai or the Phra Buddha image, Prasat Thong. It is a stucco Buddha image in the meditation posture, enshrined with disciples and a group of more than 25 stucco Buddha images in the meditation and Mara-Vijaya postures. It is a sacred Buddha image. Where Nonthaburi people worship 😗 At first, I worshiped outside, but when I entered the church, I felt like I was under a spell and my mind was on the Dharma. It is suitable for chanting and meditating. In the church, there are printed papers with prayers for forgiveness from the Buddha, the Dharma, the Sangha, and the Mahajakkraphat prayers. We can pick them up and chant along. After chanting, we sat and looked at the Buddha's face, giving us a sense of peace and tranquility.
