Pha Som Nang, a new viewpoint in Nong Khiaw

Pha Som Nang Viewpoint is a new viewpoint in Nong Khiaw. It is a beautiful sunset spot. You can see the U River, Nong Khiaw town, Nong Khiaw Bridge, and most importantly, it is very easy to walk up. Although some parts are a bit tight, overall, it is very easy to walk up. The top is very well done. It is easy to take pictures. But there is a secret corner which is a shelter up there. It is not very strong. It can accommodate no more than 3 people. But the view from the shelter is WOW. You can see more than the bottom. But you have to be very careful because it is made of woven bamboo. And some parts are broken. At the viewpoint below, which is a strong cement, there is a toilet. The entrance fee is 20,000 kip. Drinking water is still important even though the sun is starting to set. #TravelLaos
