A magical location that will surprise you!

If you are in Laos, and up for a little adventure, then hiking the Phadeng Peak is a perfect activity I would really recommend to do! Located in a small quiet village named Nong Khiaw, this place is a 3 hours drive away from the city of Luang Prabang. As the roads are not really accessible and easy to navigate, I would high advise any visitor here to arrange a private transport to this village. The journey wasn’t very pleasant due to the rocky roads but it’s all worth it once you arrive at the place. The starting point is mins walk away from the main town, and it will take 1-2hours to reach the top, which is also called the Nong Khiaw’s viewpoint. The hike itself is pretty manageable on a good weather and to enjoy the best scenery, hiking in the early morning during sunrise will give you the best views and photos opportunity.
