Garden Glow-Up

Tucked right next to Nara Park (but way quieter), this little garden is a total vibe, peaceful, green, and crazy pretty. There are actually three mini gardens in one: a moss garden, a pond garden, and a tea ceremony garden. Each has its own chill mood, and in spring, they all basically explode with color and life. You’ve got cherry blossoms, fresh green leaves, and that soft light that makes everything look like a painting. It’s super walkable and not usually crowded, so you can just wander, vibe, and pretend you live in a fancy historical drama. It’s free for foreign visitors too, which is always a win. If you’re in Nara and need a break from deer selfies, Yoshikien is a peaceful little detour full of spring magic. Total calm-core moment.
