The panoramic view of the city from the Nine-Story Pagoda

Yongshang Pagoda is the main landmark of Qingshui Mountain, built with nine stories. The view of Nanning from the top is refreshing and beautiful. Originally constructed during the Ming Dynasty under the direction of a local official named Xiao Yunju, who governed Yongzhou (the old name for Nanning), the pagoda was destroyed during wartime and later rebuilt in 1986 in an octagonal Ming Dynasty style. Located at the peak of Qingshan Ridge on Qingshui Mountain, the path to the pagoda is easily accessible by electric cars. However, despite the pagoda being only nine stories tall, reaching the top can be surprisingly challenging. Yet, the cool breeze blowing through the windows at the top washes away all fatigue.
