There is an ancient building on the north bank of the Yongjiang River, standing between the flood control embankment and the river. It is called Changyou Pavilion. It was built in 2016. It is the only large building built on the flood control embankment and is also part of the Minsheng Square on the flood control embankment on the north bank of the Yongjiang River. Changyou Pavilion adopts the traditional multi-story pavilion architectural style, with a total of five floors and a height of nearly 50 meters. The white base and dark red attic look very quaint under the blue sky. If you take the elevator to the top of the pavilion, you will be amazed by the vast view in front of you. Here, you can fully appreciate the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Yongjiang River and feel the fusion of nature and history. Changyou Pavilion is a tourist building closest to the Yongjiang River. It is a great place to take photos and check in at sunset. Changyou Pavilion is built on elevated ground, with an elevated floor of about 10 meters at the bottom. This design is because the water level often reaches the elevated floor when the river water rises. This has created a small square at the bottom of Changyou Pavilion, where retired seniors usually gather to dance and exercise; the government also organizes various activities here during important holidays.
