Jirisan Baraebong Mountain Climbing

It is a round and gentle mountain ridge, and here and there, azaleas are clustered in the meadow as if someone had intentionally cultivated it. The hike starts at Yongsan Village, 1.5km away from Unbong-eup. Since you climb along the mountain path behind the ranch, the hike is relatively easy. Azalea colonies begin to unfold in earnest from the bottom of Baraebong Peak, where the mountain path ends. Azaleas are about the size of a person's waist or height, and they start to bloom at the bottom of the mountain in late April.
