It is located just a short walk from Karasuma Station, so it is very convenient to access. My number one recommendation is the yakitori heart. It is perfectly cooked, fluffy and very delicious. The price is reasonable, and there are many menu items, so you will never get bored. The individual dishes are also delicious, and I recommend the potato salad, pickles, and grilled rice balls. The Hoko is rotated by pouring water over split bamboo and sliding it over it. Then it is returned to each Hokomachi and dismantled as soon as it returns. It is said that the parade of the Yamahoko through the town attracts bad luck, so this is to prevent the bad luck that has been collected from staying. There are paid viewing seats, but the floats are paraded along the main roads, so you can see them anywhere. I happened to drop into this wonderful shop while walking along Kawaramachi Street. This shop is very famous for its "Uji Matcha Tiramisu," which uses matcha from Morihan, a long-established shop in Uji. In addition to the main store in Kyoto, they have branches not only throughout Japan, but also in Singapore and Hong Kong. Apparently, when they first opened, it was so popular that there was a 3-hour wait. This time, by chance, there was no one in line, so I was lucky. As soon as you enter, you'll be greeted by the super cute black Shiba Inu Miles🥹🩷🩷 He's a quiet and friendly guy, so it was so cute that he came over to me. There was no smell and it was very clean✨️ The pudding was a hard type with plenty of bitter and rich caramel, and it had a traditional coffee shop feel. "Hoo Kyoto" opened in a quiet residential area in Marutamachi, in the north of Kyoto. This is my second time going! I definitely wanted to go and try these donuts. I had so much fun at one of the biggest game centers in the Kansai region. There were so many crane games, some with many hands like the Thousand-Armed Kannon, and some that were easy to win, so you're sure to get a lot!
