Best Time to Visit: May to October: Ideal for lake cruises, hiking, and the jazz festival. December: The Montreux Noël Christmas Market is one of Switzerland’s best, complete with a Santa flying over the lake! Travel Tips: Ride the GoldenPass Line to or from Montreux for jaw-dropping mountain and lake scenery. Visit Rochers-de-Naye for panoramic views and even marmots in summer!
