Monopoli is a small and clean town, mostly with white color buildings on the Apulia sea coast not fare from Bari, the principal airport of Puglia region in south east of Italy.
It is beautiful to have a walk to the city Center, where you will see many beautiful antique buildings, blue boats on the coast and delicious seafood restaurants.
beaches in Monopoli are extremely clean with transparent and cristalline water.
Not so much to see for snorkelling, but beautiful to enjoy a day on the beach with incredible landscapes and a nice walk in the town.
Best time to visit:
Summer (Avoid august and July for the crowd, better June or begin of September)
Restaurants: Many local restaurants are good, from the locals to the fine dining one
Beaches: Any beach will not make you disappointed, I recommend private bath houses, not cheap, but worth for the atmosphere, vibes and environment
