Mutsu Lakeside Forest Park

Kawasaki Town, located in the southern part of Miyagi Prefecture, is a town rich in natural resources. One of the most famous attractions is the National Mutsu Forest Lakeside Park (國営みちのく藤の湖畔園). It takes about an hour by bus from Sendai City to reach the National Mutsu Forest Lakeside Park. Various flowers bloom in different seasons, and the scene is very vast and beautiful. In autumn, the Kochia scoparia (Popo grass, broom grass) in Mutsu Park will gradually change from green to red. The whole Kochia scoparia is very beautiful and healing.
