Mianning-Lingshan Temple

Hidden and unassuming, in the deep old forest of the western foothills of Xiaoxiangling, the incense is not affected by the remote and high ridge, it's truly a treasure land. During the Qianlong period, Buddhist disciple Yang Xuexin (Dharma name Wuzhen) traveled through the 'Four Famous Mountains' and passed by Mianning Lingshan. He saw detailed clouds covering it, and was moved by the unique and strange scenery of Lingshan, so he decided to build a temple in Lingshan for quiet cultivation. It took 15 years to build the Lingshan Temple, and he preached for 21 springs and autumns, with 48 disciples. In 1804, after his death, his body did not decay and was worshipped by disciples in the Buddha Hall for 160 years. Moreover, he left a spectacular 'Seven Stars Holding the Moon' temple for future generations, and created the temple style of 'Goodness is the Best, Forever Tied to Lingguang' for future generations.
