[Morocco] The flaxen golden desert "The Great Dunes of Merzouga (Desert)"

Morocco is a desert country facing the Mediterranean Sea to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and Western Sahara to the east. Morocco is a mix of European, Middle Eastern, and African cultures, and its exotic culture is popular. Meanwhile, tours to the Sahara Desert led by Berber guides are also popular. Merzouga is famous as the gateway to the Sahara Desert. It is popular as a tourist base that allows easy access to the Sahara Desert from Marrakech, Morocco's largest tourist city. Starting from the city of Merzouga, it takes about an hour for camel riding. A popular tour is one where you stay overnight in a tent at the base camp site. I participated in a two-night tour where I stayed overnight in a homestay with nomads living in the "Black Desert" (a desert with black gravel) further in. The Moroccan desert is characterized by its beautiful golden yellow color that can be described as honey or flaxen, so beautiful that it is called the "Moroccan miracle." The desert, dyed in the morning sun and sunset, is almost divinely beautiful.
