🛶 Malacca River (Malay: Sungai Melaka) which flows through the middle of Malacca City in Malacca was a vital trade route during the heyday of Malacca Sultanate in the 15th century. The river starts from the foothills in the neighbouring state of Negeri Sembilan and feeds into the Strait of Malacca. This river has its own historical value because on the left and right of this river are municipalities, settlements, cemeteries, businesses, shipping, ports and others since hundreds of years ago. Here also have Malacca River Cruise that provided 45 minute river tour boat ride. Operating time is from 9am till 11.30pm daily.
