Smokehouse Cameron

-Lobby & Garden The hotel was built by the British in 1937 during the British colonial period. Everything is in a classic English style, and the lobby is decorated with antique furnishings. The gardens are beautiful with flowers in bloom. My family and I stayed 1 night in 2 rooms of the cottages. It was an extraordinary and wonderful place to spend a relaxing time. We enjoyed chatting on the cool terrace in front of our room. I would recommend bringing warm clothes as it is cold at night. (No air conditioning.) The English restaurant here is open to non-guests. I had afternoon tea here a few years ago and was impressed by the delicious sandwiches. Again, the roast beef and clubhouse sandwiches were quite a hit with everyone, and were so good that we wanted to come to Cameron Highlands for this.
