Khun Tan Tunnel, the longest and highest railway tunnel 🚃

🚃🌲Khun Tan Tunnel, or colloquially known as Khun Tan Cave, is located in Doi Khun Tan National Park on the northern railway line at km. 682-683 between Mae Tan Noi Station, Hang Chat District, Lampang Province and Khun Tan Station, Mae Tha District, Lamphun Province. It is 1,352 meters long. The tunnel entrance is made of red bricks and has a red Garuda emblem on a yellow background above the tunnel entrance. At the entrance of the cave, there is a shrine to the Lord Khun Tan. On top is a shrine to Phraya Beik.
