Chiang Mai Blue Temple Wat Ban Den

📍 Wat Ban Den Inthakhin, Mae Taeng District Near Mae Rim, about an hour's drive from the Old City. The Blue Temple was first built in 1894 and is one of the largest and most spectacular temples in Chiang Mai. It is still being expanded. The rare and exotic beasts in front of the temple are colorful and exquisitely carved. In the middle of the Blue Temple is a pagoda forest, with each of the 12 zodiac signs having its own pagoda. I walked around the pagoda a few times. In the temple on the right is a 20-meter-long reclining Buddha draped in a golden robe. Its unique reclining posture exudes a sense of peace and tranquility. In front of the reclining Buddha, time seems to stand still, and I feel a sense of inner peace. It is very sacred. When you visit the Blue Temple in Chiang Mai, be sure to take your time and savor the experience.
