The journey from Chiang Mai city to Lung Dech Tea Plantation takes about an hour and a half, going towards Mae Taeng. The driving route is not difficult. There will be a section uphill where the road may be a bit narrow, with no shoulder, so you may have to be a bit careful. When you reach the entrance to the tea plantation, you will be given the option to park your car at the bottom and walk up, or drive up and park at the top, because the entrance to the plantation is very steep.
