Dreamy Purple Temple | The Cool 'Scorpion Temple' at the Thai-Myanmar Border!

This time, I visited Mae Sai and took a regular bus (about 2 hours) to reach this stunning purple temple located at the Thai-Myanmar border. After getting off the bus, I took a Grab to the temple, which is very close to the border checkpoint. It truly feels like you’re just one step away from crossing into another country! Upon entering the temple area, you’ll need to ride a special scorpion-shaped tour vehicle. It’s super cool and extravagant, offering a unique pilgrimage experience. The entire temple is designed with incredible opulence—purple-themed architecture adorned with abundant floral decorations. Every corner is as beautiful as a piece of art. There’s even a section dedicated to a scorpion deity, which is something I’ve never seen before—so unique! The most breathtaking feature is the skywalk. Standing on it, you can directly gaze at Tachileik in Myanmar, capturing the stunning border scenery. Highly recommended for adventure and photography enthusiasts!
