Reunion After a Long Time - The Venetian Macao

Date: May D9, 2025 Weather: Sunny The Charm of Macao Today, after five years, I returned to Macao to attend a concert. From the opulent architecture to the enticing aroma of food wafting through the streets, everything about Macao rekindled my fond memories 😊 Accommodation: The Venetian Macao Upon arrival, I checked into the renowned **Venetian Macao**. It truly lives up to its reputation. The hotel is imbued with Venetian charm, featuring arched bridges, artificial canals, and gondolas that make you feel as if you’re in Italy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with luxurious decor and stunning views from the windows. Both the facilities and service quality make you feel warmly welcomed. The shopping center within the hotel is equally impressive, offering a wide variety of brand stores, exquisite boutiques, and unique souvenirs. --- Dinner: "North" Restaurant in the Hotel This is a restaurant specializing in northern Chinese cuisine. The decor is elegant, exuding a strong Chinese ambiance. We ordered several signature dishes: - Stir-fried Cauliflower: A must-try appetizer with a perfect balance of vinegar flavor. Juicy and flavorful, with an enticing aroma. - Garlic Pork Slices: Thinly sliced pork paired with cucumber and garlic paste, refreshing and not greasy. - Fish with Pickled Vegetables: Though not entirely authentic, the portion was generous, with plenty of fish slices. Suitable for those who prefer less Sichuan pepper. - Pan-fried Dumplings: Another must-try dish, crispy and juicy. Best enjoyed hot, but be cautious of the bursting juice. - Mapo Tofu: Average, nothing particularly surprising. The overall quality of the food was decent, and the environment was pleasant—not too noisy, allowing for leisurely conversations. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and the restroom was clean 👍 Today's journey was full of surprises. The luxury of the Venetian Macao and the delicious food at "North" Restaurant left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, time was limited, and I couldn’t explore more places. I look forward to experiencing more next time! Macao is truly a city worth savoring.
