The Macau Po-Tsai House, formerly known as the Po-Tsai House, is a cultural and creative space in Macau. The Pozai House is located in Fengtang Alley. It is two century-old yellow Portuguese buildings. There is a small courtyard in front with two old camphor trees. The environment is quiet and beautiful. During the Japanese invasion of China, the Poor House was a "home for the poor", taking in refugees and the poor. Some also said it was a nursing home because it was full of grandmothers, hence the name "Poor House". After it became vacant, it became the base of the "Poor House Art Space" for Macau art and cultural workers. It has now moved to the cowshed warehouse. The cultural and creative space built into the Po-Chai House of the Holy House of Mercy is a venue for art performances and exhibitions. It is also a base for training local creative talents and selling local creative products. The government intends to build the St. Lhas Parish into a creative industry zone, and Po-Chai House is one of its main axes. It is Macau's creative base.
