This time I will introduce a very famous local attraction: Longji Rice Terraces Scenic Area. The Longji Rice Terraces are located in Longji Mountain in Heping Township, southeast of Longsheng County, Guilin. The terraces are distributed between 300 and 1,100 meters above sea level, with slopes mostly between 26 and 35 degrees and a maximum slope of 50 degrees. · The vast Longji Rice Terraces were built in the Yuan Dynasty and completed in the early Qing Dynasty. From the valley with rushing streams to the mountain top shrouded in white clouds, graceful curves are drawn along the hillside, turning the entire mountain range into a grand art painting. · The most famous Longji Rice Terraces are the "Nine Dragons and Five Tigers" and the "Seven Stars and the Moon".
