Trip to Longnan, China 🇨🇳

Longnan, nestled in the southeastern part of Gansu Province, is a treasure trove of natural beauty and cultural heritage. During our visit, we explored breathtaking gorges, ancient caves, and serene lakes—each offering unique photography opportunities. Here are three must-visit spots we recommend for capturing the essence of Longnan. Guan’e Gou Scenic Area – A Natural Wonderland 🌲 Our journey began at Guan’e Gou Scenic Area, renowned for its lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and tranquil lakes. The vibrant greenery and clear waters provided a perfect backdrop for landscape photography. We found that visiting in the early morning allowed us to capture the soft light filtering through the trees, creating a mystical atmosphere. The reflections in the still waters added depth and serenity to our shots.  📍 Address: Tanchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, China Wanxiang Cave – An Underground Marvel 🕳️ Next, we explored Wanxiang Cave, a vast limestone cavern adorned with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The intricate formations illuminated by colorful lights offered a surreal setting for photography. We recommend using a tripod to capture the cave’s details in low light conditions. The lake’s mirror-like surface beautifully reflected the surrounding landscape, making it ideal for capturing symmetrical compositions.
