Longji Rice Terraces; a bus ride to remember

As soon as we landed in Guilin we took a didi to the ticketing office, from there we were to take bus, one of the craziest bus rides I've ever experienced, often hanging over edge cliffs and the local ethnic groups getting on and off the bus, this.. was for locals. The bus dropped us off at a terminal, where we were given the option of a taxi or a chair lift, we opted chair lift and I'm happy about that decision. You get a 360 degree uninterrupted view of the rice terrace appearing from no where, truly a beautiful sight. At the top you can walk around and look at the sheer vastness of this man made creation, how amazinf rhe irrigation must be, and there's also shops and small food stalls too.
