[Tate Modern, London's Modern Art Museum] Tate Modern is a former abandoned thermal power plant that the Tate Gallery acquired and reborn as an art gallery and museum. If you look at picture 9, you can see that the chimney still remains, as if it were once a power plant. However, the interior has been completely remodeled to become the Tate Modern interior we know! I briefly looked around the free exhibition and headed to the 6th floor cafe, which is why Koreans go to Tate Modern😄 Pictures 1 and 2 📍6th floor cafe: The Kitchen & Bar / The Kitchen and Bar This is the famous 6th floor cafe. You should definitely sit by the window with a view of London. It would be nice to simply enjoy a flat white and a croissant while enjoying the view.!☕️ Picture 3 📍London view from the 3rd floor terrace While continuing to look around the exhibition, I found the terrace on the 3rd floor and went out. The view was pretty good here too. There weren't many people.! 👏🏻 +) 10th floor outdoor terrace Another famous place at Tate Modern is the 10th floor outdoor terrace where you can see the 360-degree view that Tate Modern is proud of. Since it is a high floor, you can see the entire city of London even more clearly, right? I didn't have time to go to the 10th floor, so it's a shameㅠ Photo 4 📍LOVE sculpture The 0th floor in Europe is the same as the 1st floor in Korea. There is a LOVE sculpture on the 0th floor of Tate Modern. This sculpture is in New York, Taipei, Tokyo, Kota Kinabalu, etc., but I didn't know it would be in London, and in Tate Modern, which is indoors😆 +) Luggage storage Tate Modern has both manned and unmanned luggage storage. The manned storage is in front of the LOVE sculpture, and the unmanned storage is across from the LOVE sculpture. The unmanned storage is cheaper at 1 pound. Photo 5 📍0th floor plaza lobby In the lobby, you can see a really different scenery from our country. Some people are sitting on the floor and resting, and some are lying down.! And since the lobby is slightly inclined, there are also children sliding like a slide ☺️ ✔️Free admission There are paid exhibitions, so you can check them out on the first floor. (Most are within £10~15) However, there are so many free exhibitions that I didn't see the paid exhibitions. If you have some time and are interested in an exhibition, it would be good to see the paid exhibitions (most are within £10~15)! ✔️Opening hours Mon - Thu 10:00 ~ 18:00 Fri - Sat 10:00 ~ 22:00 #London travel #London #UK travel #UK #Europe travel #Europe #Tate Modern #london #tatemodern #New Year's travel #happynewyear #2019 travel #life shot spot #life travel destination #New Year's #Year-end travel #Winter travel #Safe travel #Happy New Year #City travel
