Lavo 📍The BoTree, 34 Marylebone Ln, London W1U 2DR I made a reservation with friends at this Italian restaurant near Oxford Street and Bond Street, and the ambiance is absolutely amazing. ️ Meatball The meatball is enormous! It comes with tomato sauce at the bottom and a layer of chilled cheese on top, which gives it a unique texture. It's very hearty, so I recommend sharing it with others! Handmade Burrata The burrata has a very fresh and light taste, paired with small tomatoes and crispy crackers, which balances out the richness. ️ Tuna Tartare This is a must-have whenever I visit an Italian restaurant! It's very refreshing and fresh. The tuna is diced and mixed with avocado, topped with some crunchy veggies. ️ Ox Cheek The ox cheek is incredibly tender. It cuts so easily and is flavored with a hint of red wine. The bottom has a mashed potato-like base with cream, which gives the dish a sauce-like texture. ️ Rigatoni Amatriciana The rigatoni is delicious, especially with the bits of smoked bacon, which gives it a savory taste. Paired with the tomato sauce, it's a great combination of tangy and salty flavors. ️ 20 Layer Cake This 20-layer cake is huge, so it's best shared with a group. It's tall, very sweet, and made with peanut butter and chocolate sauce, which pair wonderfully together. Enjoying a bite of cake with a cup of tea is perfect! The tea here is also fragrant.
