Natural History Museum 🇬🇧

#londontrip During my summer vacation in London, I visited the Natural History Museum, located on Cromwell Road in South Kensington. Entry is free, which is amazing given how much there is to see! 🦖🏛️ The museum is housed in a stunning Romanesque building, and I was immediately impressed by the grandeur of the architecture. Inside, I was greeted by the iconic Hintze Hall with its massive blue whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling. I spent hours exploring the dinosaur gallery, where I marveled at the fossils and life-sized models. The Earth Hall, with its giant rotating globe and interactive displays about our planet, was also fascinating. One of my favorite exhibits was the Wildlife Photographer of the Year, showcasing breathtaking nature photography. After the museum, I wandered around the nearby Kensington Gardens, perfect for a relaxing stroll. The Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum are also close by, making it easy to continue a day of exploration. For lunch, I grabbed a bite at one of the many charming cafés in the area. The museum’s café also offers a good selection of snacks and drinks if you prefer to stay on-site. Visiting the Natural History Museum was a highlight of my London trip.
