#0yentravel In 2019, the Courtauld Gallery was held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and became a hot topic. The Courtauld Gallery is an exhibition facility of the Courtauld Institute of Art, one of the world's leading research institutes in art history and conservation. I went there because I wanted to see Manet's painting of a bar at the Folies-Bergère! (2nd image) I was glad to be able to take a close look at this famous painting. Unlike in Japan, many museums in London do not prohibit photography, so I was able to take photos of some of my favorite works. The attached cafe is also wonderful, and the goods sold in the shop are very tasteful and wonderful, so I recommend it.
